Our duty as thinking and caring human beings is to remain calm and open-minded, and to the extent that we can, try to guide change so that it continues to improve our lives and the lives of others as well as the lives of those who come after us. People we know and people we will never know. And to be guided by our faiths and our life experiences in the process.
